Violence against women journalists in Latin America

This episode presents some findings from the report “Women Journalists and Freedom of Expression” (2018) prepared by the Office of the Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Expression of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. Two emblematic cases of violence against women journalists are also taken up: Jineth Bedoya Lima (Colombia) and Lydia Cacho (Mexico), two women journalists who have suffered violence and continue to seek justice for their cases, and betting on journalism in the midst of contexts of violence.
