As part of a tour of various Salvadoran communities in Europe, the Deputy Minister of Diaspora and Human Mobility, Cindy Portal, visited the city of Barcelona, in the region of Catalonia, where more than 6,000 compatriots.
In said city, The deputy minister met with a considerable representation of nationals and made them aware of the projections that said State portfolio has for the diaspora residing in Catalonia, through the consulate in Barcelona. Meanwhile, some of the attendees said they felt motivated by this initiative.
During the meeting, the work of various people who are committed to the work of the Salvadoran community in this region of Spain was recognized.. Typical Salvadoran dishes were also tasted and requests were made to the consulate to improve some services..
