Trump pardons his former national security adviser

The mandatary, wished a "fantastic thanksgiving" to the family of the general who lied twice to the FBI, within the framework of the investigation into the so-called Russian plot.

Texas. Less than two months to end your period, Donald Trump, President of the United States, used his last days in power to forgive Michael Flynn, your former National Security advisor, noted for contacting the government of Russia in the case of elections 2016.

Through your favorite social network, tweeter, the president announced his pardon to Flynn who pleaded guilty, before the congress, for lying to investigators of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, for contacting Russia, in the presidential elections of 2010.

Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House of Representatives, described the presidential pardon as an "act of grave corruption and blatant abuse of power".

The congressional leader noted “Trump and his team continue to put the president over the country, while politicizing justice to protect Flynn and Trump from the law ".
