Tropical Storm Bonnie is already moving in Salvadoran territory

This implies a high probability of flooding, landslides and tree falls among other effects derived from the timeless condition.

The Civil Protection authorities maintain the yellow alert for 29 coastal and green municipalities in the rest of the country.

“It is important that the population joins the efforts of the institutions, following the instructions, do not risk your life crossing rivers or streams, we do not want more human losses”, added the minister.

Civil protection at the national level has been prepared in advance in the installation and equipment of more than 30 temporary shelters in high-risk places.

This includes delivery to refugees at those bed sites, feeding, cleaning and biosecurity kits and medical care, all this in compliance with international protocols.
