Prices of products and services skyrocket on a global scale

The prices of daily consumption products, as well as services, have skyrocketed in the last few days, and experts already predict that the situation could get worse.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) warned that “rapidly rising food and energy prices, poses significant challenges for the poorest countries and consumers who spend much of their income on these basic needs.

The increase in imports is driven by price levels of internationally traded food products and triples freight costs, according to the FAO. This organization forecasts what families worldwide have experienced for about two months.

But nevertheless, Joan A, a worried housewife because according to her, Going to the supermarket with the same amount of money you spent in September is no longer enough for you right now.

It should be noted that the food products that have increased their prices the most are: fish, milk, sugar, vegetables, carne.

The FAO urges to "maintain special vigilance" in the face of the increase in prices of food products and fuels since this could generate a regressive impact on the poorest consumers.
