Salvadorans in Los Angeles celebrate independence

The parade will begin at 10 morning 1 September and will travel Santa Monica Boulevard.

In the edition 20 Salvadoran Parade in Los Angeles, attendees can enjoy four bands, dancers and a slightly longer than in previous years and will be on the famous Hollywood Boulevard route.

Oscar Gil, founder of DEFISAL, organization responsible for assembling this event, invited Salvadorans to not stay at home on Sunday 1 September and turn to the streets to celebrate the important date.

"The Salvadoran Parade is the only focused solely on Salvadorans in Los Angeles. No one of this magnitude. We make them an invitation to bring their children to teach them and show proud to be Salvadoran ", Gil said.
