Honduras – The president of Honduras, Xiomara Castro, has declared a national security emergency, before the “delinquency” and crimes of “extortion” who live in the country.
“I declare a national emergency in terms of security and instruct the National Police to proceed to propose states of exception and suspension of partial constitutional guarantees in the different areas where it is warranted.”, said the president.
The president, Xiomara Castro, He declared war on extortion and points out that his democratic socialist government seeks to restore dignity to Hondurans.
The president reiterated that the National Police has her full support to combat extortion, drug trafficking and crime.
Castro promised to eradicate extortion in all corners of Honduras, and affirms that they will deactivate all the funds coming from money laundering.
The president proposed the state of exception in those sectors that report an increase in extortion, in America the figures remain stable, ordered the National Telecommunications Commission (Conatel) to regulate the purchase and sale of chips for mobile phones.
The strategy is based on dealing with crime, and put a stop to the collection of the war tax through a comprehensive strategy.
