Another group of Salvadorans travels to Canada as part of the Labor Migration Program

The Savior – More Salvadorans can travel safely and legally to work in other countries, within the framework of the Labor Migration Program.

Authorities of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, fired this Monday a new group of about thirty Salvadorans bound for Canada to work for a period of two years.

“Now you will be able to raise the name of El Salvador, They are the ambassadors of our country🇸”. Vice Minister of Labor, sofia rodriguez.

This new contingent joins other groups of Salvadorans who have already traveled to the United States and Alaska to provide their labor services, Since the program started.

The objective of the program is to promote the labor inclusion of Salvadorans through regular migration, orderly and safe to countries where employment opportunities are identified.

The contracting foreign companies undertake to respect the labor rights of Salvadorans and provide equal conditions to those given to the citizens of their nations..

In July of last year, the first group of compatriots traveled to work for Canadian companies in the agricultural sector, also for a period of two years, explained on that occasion the head of the Labor branch.

This program was launched in 2019, and at the end of that same year the first group made up of 50 Salvadorans to work in an agricultural company in Mississippi, U.S.
