a woman will have – UN Women, entity that works for gender equality and the empowerment of women, made its first Gender Alert and referred to the dramatic impact of the Taliban on the Government of Afghanistan and how this directly affected the rights of women and girls.
UN Women believes that there are discriminatory measures against the violation of the rights and freedoms of Afghan women. They alerted because women see their right to work restricted, to educate yourself, freedom of movement and health services.
The multilateral organization assures that the guarantees offered by the Taliban, that women's rights will be respected, are not accurate and on the contrary, there are deep setbacks in the country.
In 2019 the country ranked 166 presents results of the Corruption Perception Index. 167 countries regarding gender equality. The situation worsened and the trend indicates that women's rights are at their worst.
