Xavier López, I was a fourth grade student, who was about to finish primary school in two days and move on to secondary education.
the day of his death, his mother was with him at school for an award ceremony, the minor had won a diploma and his mother took the opportunity to photograph him.
according to his cousin, Xavier's mother was at the awards ceremony an hour or two before the shooting, without knowing that it would be the last time I would see him.
Her grandmother, Amelia Sandoval, told him that Xavier was the “life of the party” and he loved to dance and play baseball. I had just made the honor roll.
“You send your children to school thinking they will come home”, Sandoval said, with a broken voice. “and then they are not”.
“We love him very much and will miss him very much”, He said.
