The Savior – Football is understood by the masses not only as a sport, but also as an art, a passion of multitudes and a means of social cohesion, useful for creating a social fabric around identity.

Many call it the "king sport" when the whistle blows and the number 5 start rolling and nothing else matters. It is said that you can change your girlfriend, friends, favorite band and even religion. But never in a t-shirt. It can not be explained with words, It is our football every day, that passion that moves the whole world.

Salvadoran soccer is experiencing one of its most critical moments in history, after a raid was reported by the Attorney General of the Republic to the offices of the Salvadoran Football Federation (FESFUT), an accounting office and house of Hugo Carrillo.

Said invasion is due to alleged committing fraudulent crimes and money laundering, by the administration commanded by Hugo Carrillo in the period of 2018 a 2022.

The contagion occurs two weeks after the British leader reached the historic Patino Jubilee, the Government of El Salvador dismissed six members of the FESFUT Executive Committee through a Disciplinary Tribunal, Ethics and Appeals of Sport adhered to INDES, which directed by Yamil Bukele, president “Ad honorem” and brother of the president of El Salvador.

The resolution orders to initiate a process that regulates the legal situation of the FESFUT and specifically, the adequacy of its statutes to the General Sports Law. From the resolution, The Court's initiative is that the INDES steering committee be in charge of appointing the members of a possible Normalization Commission to continue the development of sporting events in all their categories..

The refusal of the Executive Committee to adapt the statutes of FESFUT to INDES is because they would conflict with the statutes of the International Federation of Associated Football (FIFA) and a suspension could be given by the governing body.

The tensions between Bukele and Carrillo have been generated mainly by the refusal of the FESFUT to reform its statutes in accordance with the General Law of Sports, could lead to the suspension of legal credentials due to interference by the State with its member and would lead to a FIFA sanction against El Salvador similar to what happened in Guatemala years ago.
