The Salvadoran footballer, Jorge “Magical” González paid tribute to Argentine Diego Armando Maradona this weekend at the River Park Soccer League in Houston, Texas.
The posthumous tribute of the "Magician" to his friend Maradona took place during an international match between the Pachines González Dynasty and other former Salvadorans selected, including Arturo Álvarez, Cheyo Quintanilla and Dennis Alas (Mágico González team), and a team made up of other former players such as Rudis Corrales and the “Bat” Fields.
The "Magic" scored 3 goals, the last penalty, and to celebrate it, he took off the yellow shirt of Cádiz with which he played to show another that he used with the number 10 by Maradona.
In the middle of the game, the “Magical” asked for a minute of silence, raising the 10 by Maradona, while looking at the sky with tears.
Next to the Magician was Diego López Maradona, Maradona's nephew, who also raised the shirt 10 of the equipo Naples de Italy, in which his uncle who died last November was active in his native Argentina.
