Regional Forums of the Central American Parliament begin

The activities that will be held during the week are the XX Regional Meeting of Women of Political Parties; the XXX Central American and Caribbean Conference of Political Parties; the XXII Forum for Tourism Development and Integration of Central America and the Caribbean, as well as the Plenary Assembly Session.

The Savior – The Central American Parliament (PARLACEN) inaugurated this Monday the Regional Forums, whose headquarters will be El Salvador between 26 and the 30 of September. A space where the representatives of the countries of the region will address issues such as equity, economy, tourism, among others.

The event was inaugurated and the Vice President of the Republic participated, Felix Ulloa; together with the president of PARLACEN, William Ortega; Secretary General of the Central American Integration System (SICA), Werner Vargas, and parliamentarians from the different nations that make up the regional organization.

“It is important that events of this nature serve to reflect and look to the future. Our aspiration is to generate the common home of the Central American region. Our proposal is the insertion of the regional legislative function as part of the Central American common home”, Vice President Ulloa pointed out.

“Now after the pandemic, and to achieve economic reactivation, tourism is one of the strategies to raise up the peoples of Central America”, detailed the head of the PARLACEN, in tune with the strategy led by President Bukele to position El Salvador as an important tourist destination in the region.
