The contest will last four and a half months., where they will participate 14 teams, one for each department. These will be made up of 25 players: 20 under 21 years, three older than 21 years and two foreigners without age limit. The base of the team must be made up of players born in the department.
One of the biggest bets is oriented towards the professionalization of Salvadoran soccer, with a comprehensive intervention that generates new bastions of national football.
A draw will be held prior to the start of the contest to define the competition calendar., from the initial game to the final.
