The graduation corresponds to 86 cadets promoting to second lieutenants, distributed in the Army 39 gentlemen and 9 ladies; Air Force with 14 cadets and 1 miss cadet; in the Navy 14 gentlemen cadets; Likewise, 4 gentlemen and 2 foreign cadet ladies, from Panama; two other cadets who graduated from the University Career Study Plan.
The taking of protest of the officers of the promotion 2021 was made by the Minister of National Defense, Francis Merino Monroy. In this act, those now promoted to second lieutenants swore to defend the homeland.
at the graduation ceremony, President Nayib Bukele swore in 1,000 new military items, that come to reinforce the phase 4 of the Territorial Control Plan, called "Incursion". The head of state explained that the graduation of these elements is part of the initiatives promoted last July, to bring security to salvadorans.
The new members of the military institution will be distributed in the following areas: 863 for the Armed Forces, 44 for the Air Force and 93 for the Navy. With them, the head of state announced the arrival of 1,300 new military elements to enter in the first quarter of the 2022.
The Government's goal is to have more than 40,000 military elements, as part of the phase 4 of the Territorial Control Plan, that will cover the entire national territory and guarantee the safety of salvadorans. “You are the example of what a good Salvadoran should be, disciplined, noble, responsible, loyal and willing to do anything, for his people and his country”, said the president.

President Bukele presided over the act of promotion of 136 sub-inspectors of the National Civil Police (PNC) who passed to the category of inspectors and the graduation of 160 alumni of the National Academy of Public Safety (ANSP), with which the operation of the Territorial Control Plan will be strengthened.
