The health passport to enter museums, theaters, cinemas and events with more than 50 people is a reality for France, which continues to join the countries with this type of initiative to curb the circulation of the coronavirus and encourage vaccination with Saudi Arabia from August.

The obligation to present the vaccination certificate to enter public places in the European country also has the purpose of mitigating the expansion of the Delta variant, that has already caused a fourth wave of infections and seeks to win over people who refuse to be immunized.

From this week the entrance to public places, sporting events and fairs is subject to verifying that the Covid-19 vaccine was received. From next month, these measures will be extended to long-distance trains, restaurants, bares, hospitals and shopping centers, according to local media.

"We are in the fourth wave. Delta variant is there, is on most of the rise in 140% of cases in a week. The 96% of the 18 one thousand positives registered between Tuesday were not vaccinated ".

The first Minister, Jean Castex, explained that all this strategy with the health pass is to avoid having to take stronger measures.
