Salvadoran president Mauricio Funes gets Nicaraguan nationality

Salvadoran president Mauricio Funes, Carlos Mauricio Funes children Diego Velasco and Roberto Cañas Funes, and hislifemate, Ada Mitchell Guzman Sigiienza obtained Nicaraguan nationality, as published in the Official Gazette of Nicaragua.

The announcement was made effective nationality by resolution number 3119 published in La Gaceta, Official diary, which came into force Tuesday 30 of July, but nevertheless, It was authorized on the 15 July by the brigade commander Juan Emilio Rivas Benítes, who is Director General of Immigration in Nicaragua.
