United States - The Government announced that as of November it will open its land borders that limit with Mexico and Canada, but it will allow entry only to people who have received the full vaccination scheme.
The measure will allow the resumption of non-essential trips such as tourism and is aligned with the decision of the authorities to allow access to people who have a vaccination certificate and a negative test.
Until now, vaccines authorized by the United States are those of Pfizer, Modern and Johnson & Johnson; but nevertheless, the White House will approve all those that are recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO), among them are those of AstraZeneca and Sinopharm.
Sputnik V vaccine of Russian origin, is awaiting authorization from WHO, which means that those immunized with said drug will not be able to enter the North American country.
