The embassy of El Salvador in Spain celebrated the Day of the Salvadoran Abroad. Casa de America was again scenario to develop a Salvadoran event, This time the concert called "Añoranzas" was held as a tribute to the community in the Diaspora.
The activity was presented by the Cuscatleco tenor Napoleón Domínguez and the dance group “Torogoz” from the city of Zaragoza., that delighted the public with the dances “in Cojutepeque”, “Saint Michael's Carnival” Y “The Blue Hat”, among others.
The event also featured the participation of the Ibero-American choir.
further, the embassy awarded recognitions to enterprising Salvadorans who have brought the different typical dishes of El Salvador to their restaurants.
Similarly, the Voice of Salvadorans Association in Spain”, through its president, Francisco Gil received recognition for his valuable work in helping those compatriots who need a helping hand.
