Third dose of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines against Covid-19 on the way

The third dose of Moderna and Pfizer vaccines against Covid-19, will begin to apply from 20 September to all those patients whose immune system is compromised as a result of chronic conditions.

This was announced by the Agency for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC for its acronym in English).

Suffering from diseases as scientists have said the powerful Delta variant could reduce protection against the pandemic by up to three months.

Thence, the need to begin immunization with those vaccinated against Covid-19 in the first phase of the campaign.

Later, of those who were inoculated with these two types of vaccines against COVID-19 so also people with conditions such as diabetes, arterial hypertension, Cancer, kidney failure and other chronic diseases will be the first in line to receive the third dose.

While, health authorities are still discussing whether those who were vaccinated with Jhonson & Johnson will need a second dose.
