El Salvador will host the World Surfing on the modalities Standup Paddle (SUP) of the 23 November to 1 from December to 2019. The famous beach El Sunzal, expects to receive the best international and local surfers.

The 2019 It is the eighth consecutive year that the ISA develops World Championship. The first surfers to be crowned world champions played the competitions in Peru, in 2012.
While later editions of the event were held on four continents, in Peru (2013), Nicaragua (2014), Mexico (2015), Fiji (2016), Denmark (2017) and China (2018).

Morena Ileana Valdez Vigil , Minister of Tourism of El Salvador, argued that “We are excited to be partnering with the ISA for this World Championship. Surf City organize ISA World SUP El Salvador and Paddleboard Championship is part of a national strategy for this government to promote and highlight the excellent surfing destination that our country has to offer”.
