El Salvador deposits with the ILO five ratified conventions

These refer to agreements number: 102 Social Security, 148 Working environment,154 Collective negotiation, ️183 Maternity Protection, ️190 Violence and Harassment.

Switzerland – Authorities of El Salvador delivered today to the International Labor Organization (ILO), United Nations, the five agreements on labor matters ratified by the Salvadoran State through the Legislative Assembly.

These refer to agreements number: 102 Social Security, 148 Working environment,154 Collective negotiation, ️183 Maternity Protection, ️190 Violence and Harassment.

The Minister of Labor Rolando Castro, deposited the five Conventions before the highest authority of the ILO, Director General Guy Ryder.

“Now with the government of President, n watch, we are working to build a country that guarantees quality of life and fully protects the rights of the working class”. The government official said.

The ratification of five new agreements reflects the commitment to move towards decent work in El Salvador; adopting international standards on social security, maternity protection, Collective negotiation, occupational health and the elimination of violence and harassment in the world of work, added Rolando Castro, minister of this government portfolio.
