With the aim of strengthening the basic foundations and generating changes in professional training, the Salvadoran Football Federation (FESFUT) introduced Diego Henríquez as sports director.
Among Henríquez's palmares, it stands out that he is a graduate of the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma through a soccer scholarship, Degree in Marketing with a Specialty in International Business, major in Sports Marketing from the University of Pennsylvania. Also during 8 years he was Marketing and Entertainment Manager at British American Tobacco, Marketing Manager at ADOC Companies and currently as Country Manager for ILG in El Salvador, He was also part of the El Salvador U17 and U20 national soccer teams.
"We know the need we have had to have a sports director, and the Federation committee is very pleased to present Diego Henríquez. There is no doubt about the capacity it has for its incorporation into the structure of football. He has trained outside the country and that has influenced the decision we have taken to hire him ", Hugo Carrillo highlighted, president of the FESFUT.
After your presentation, the new cuscatleco helmsman stated that “I thank the Federation for being receptive to the plan that I was able to present. This began in June when I insistently sought out Hugo and the committee to hear about the plans I wanted to propose to the Federation. My responsibility will go from sub-23 down, both male and female, this also includes futsal and beach soccer ".
