After 18 months of being closed, the Los Chorros recreational park opens its doors to the public

 The Savior – The Salvadoran Institute of Tourism (THE SAME), recreational park reopened The Jets, after its remodeling due to the damage caused by the passage of two tropical storms during the year 2020, the recreational park received the first tourists, after 18 months of intense work.

More of 400 people attended in the early hours of Sunday 12 December and enjoyed the icy waters of natural birth.  

Los Chorros Recreational Park was closed to the public in May 2020, due to the passage of the referred tropical storms, that after their passage they left the place in poor condition, for its recovery an approximate of $70,000 with the joint work of various government institutions.

In record time, The park reopens its doors and will once again be an option for Salvadorans who wish to do internal tourism, the last time this venue was closed for damage, It was during the earthquakes of 2001, which was kept closed for 7 years.

The hours of entry to the facilities are from Monday to Sunday, of 8:00 a.m. a 4:00 p.m. with an entry cost of $1.50 per person; exonerating children under 6 years, older adults and people with disabilities.
