Delegations of 44 countries meet in El Salvador to discuss financial inclusion policies

Gather in El Salvador 32 central banks and 12 financial authorities (44 countries) from various countries of the world

The Savior.– The Central Reserve Bank and the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) inaugurated the 25th Meeting of the Working Group on Digital Financial Services and the 18th Meeting of the Working Group on Financing for SMEs of said organization, that brings together in El Salvador 32 central banks and 12 financial authorities (44 countries) from various countries around the world to discuss financial inclusion, digital economy, bank the unbanked, the deployment of Bitcoin and its benefits in our country.

The topics that will be addressed in these meetings are aligned with the priorities established in this Policy that was presented in March 2021, given the importance of financial inclusion in fostering economic growth, reduce poverty and improve the quality of life of the population.

As part of the event, the Central Bank and institutions belonging to the CNIEF will present some of the key initiatives to AFI members, including policy decisions and regulations, that are helping more salvadorans have access to financial products and services.
