Spain – The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexandra Hill, held a meeting, this day, in Madrid, Spain, with the Secretary General for Ibero-America, Andres Allamand Zavala, with whom I review the main initiatives that they jointly promote.
In this space, Minister Hill thanked the support provided by SEGIB to El Salvador through the 11 programs in which you participate. They stand out among them: iberarchives, Live Iberculture, Iberescene, Ibermedia, Ibermuseums, Youth Iberorquestas, Ibero-American Plan for Literacy and Lifelong Learning, Ibero-American Program of Science and Technology for Development, Ibero-American Industrial Property Program, Strengthening of South-South Cooperation and IBE.TV Cooperation Program.
“We are very grateful to SEGIB for all the experience it has given us in all these cultural and educational projects of which we are a part.. We have capitalized on specialized knowledge and that is positive for human talent in our country, as well as the promotion of our art internationally”, Minister Hill said.
Similarly, El Salvador is a beneficiary in four projects with the Ibero-American Center for Strategic Urban Development, Training Program for Senior Ibero-American Leaders and Officials in Government and Local Management of the Ibero-American Union of Municipalists, Iberqualitas and Techo Jovenes for an Ibero-America without Poverty.
