U.S – The Supreme Court of Justice today issued a ruling that allows President Joe Biden, eliminate the “stay in Mexico” policy, which established that all immigrants detained on US soil should return and wait for an asylum request in the neighboring country.

The opinion favorable to Biden was voted five to four, since judges John Robert, president of the highest court, y Brett M. Kavanaugt, both conservative, joined the three liberals.

For his part, Carlos Eduardo Espina, a pro-immigrant activist, considered that “anti-immigrant and inhumane policies at the borders should be eliminated and the number expanded.únumber of visas to legally enter” the country.

He also criticized, to neighboring countries since according to him, they become accomplices by not seeking opportunities so that more of their citizens choose to leave their land and risk losing their lives in an attempt to find a job in the northern country.
