Commemoration of the Independence of El Salvador in Stockholm, Sweden

Within the framework of the commemoration of the 199th anniversary of the Independence of El Salvador, the country's ambassador to Sweden and the Nordic and Baltic countries, Patricia Godínez placed a wreath on the facade of the Embassy headquarters, in the municipality of Lidingö, Stockholm.

At the event he referred to the projects to be developed during his tenure, among them: improve consular service, free Swedish lessons for compatriots, asesorías legales gratuitas y mejorar las instalaciones, among other.

La embajadora destacó la importancia de fomentar la inversión en El Salvador y para ello se inauguró el primer intercambio web, called "Trading Houses: a business model to connect the MYPE with international markets ".

En esta actividad en la que participaron empresarios y emprendedores salvadoreños radicados en Suecia, se buscó abrir puentes comerciales a partir de iniciativas como “Café Proyecto País”, executed with the Salvadoran Coffee Council (CSC).

The CSC will be the link between producers, public institutions and merchants and compatriots living in Sweden, that intend to import quality coffee and help boost the economy.

Patricia Godínez highlighted the work of Salvadorans abroad and reiterated her commitment to supporting fellow citizens.
