How to report identity theft in Chivo Wallet and join Cristosal's collective complaint

El Salvador - The Cristosal organization announced that it is working on a collective complaint that it will present to the Attorney General's Office (FGR) Thursday 14 October.

They call the population who have verified that their DUI has already been registered in the Chivo electronic wallet, without your consent, that they register in the form to form part of the collective complaint.

The organization offers to represent people who share their information, with the aim of promoting legal actions. The people who send their Unique Identity Document will be considered (DUI) and the screenshot that indicates that your document has already been used in the Chivo Wallet application.

People will be contacted to sign the legal action and sign an affidavit of not having registered in the application.

Many people reported on social networks that they have been victims of identity theft or theft because their DUI was already registered in the electronic wallet.
