Bottles of Love will donate 4 million affordable housing in Latin America

Bottles of Love is a non-profit organization that works in Latin America with a comprehensive recycling model that transforms the problem of plastic waste into life solutions for vulnerable communities, manufacturing and donating homes.

The raw material resulting from the transformed plastic is used in the manufacture of RPL (Recycled Plastic Lumber) which is used for the construction of social works aimed at improving the quality of life in vulnerable communities.

For example, With the product generated in the Panama Pacifico processing plant, 4 million affordable housing for different countries in Latin America. With that, the contribution of these facilities will impact the entire continent.

The Bottles of Love Foundation was created in 2016 in Colombia to offer a comprehensive solution to the sustainable management of flexible plastic waste.

During the 2 first years of operation, the Foundation collected around 130 tons of post-consumer materials and more than 1.000 posindustrial, with which they have been donated 5 households, 18 dining tables, 10 libraries, 5 children's parks, 10 ecological points and 60 bridges.

"The goal is to have in 6 months, 40 Active collection points in Panama City. The work of Botellas de Amor is to educate the general population and companies to contribute to the collection of these materials that provide decent housing opportunities for Latin Americans in difficult situations ", notes Maryorie Joudry, President of Bottles of Love Panama.
