Miami – At least three people were injured after the landing gear of a Red Air flight from the Dominican Republic caught fire at Miami International Airport..
According to reports from the airport spokesman, Greg Chin, the flight arrived from Santo Domingo at 5:30 hours p.m. (ET) when the landing gear collapsed and started a fire.
The Miami-Dade Fire and Rescue Department said the fire on the aircraft was brought under control and crews were able to mitigate the fuel spill..
