Green alert in four departments of Honduras due to the passage of a tropical wave, reporting damages in different areas of Tegucigalpa

Honduras – Honduran authorities, this afternoon they issued a green alert for four departments of that country that are affected by the passage of a tropical wave. The green alert is for the departments of Francisco Morazán, The Paradise, Choluteca and Valley, for a period of 48 hours.

It was said that the largest water records are in the Francisco Morazán, both the girl and the newborn boy, Choluteca and La Esperanza, of Lempira.

The rains have caused flooding, people trapped in their vehicles, damaged houses, flooding of streams in several sectors of Tegucigalpa.

The rains will produce an increase in the flows of the rivers that are born in the center, east and south of the national territory with overflows of these near their mouths, that have caused flooding.

Experts warned that winds could reach 100 kilometers per hour and scattered electrical activity and possible hail precipitation.
