6 of August: “Salvadoran Day in the United States”

The 18 July 2006 It was enacted by the Federal Congress, Resolution H.R. 721, which formalizes the 6 August as “Salvadoran National Day in United States”.

This resolution was approved by a majority of the lower house of the US legislative, It recognizes the hard work of Salvadoran-Americans, and his dedication and contribution to the stability and welfare of the United States”.
